Systems Specialist: Business Process & Capability

The Systems Specialist works across the business to understand end to end operational processes, build employee capability and support consistent ways of working. The role combines business process knowledge, training and systems support, with a strong focus on helping employees understand how to effectively perform their roles.

The role will also identify and bring visibility to process, capability and system improvement opportunities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a strong understanding of end to end operational processes and the systems that support them.Identify knowledge and capability gaps and develop structured training plans to address them
Develop and deliver operational and systems training, including face to face sessions, user guides and competency assessments.Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees on business processes and system use
Identify and bring visibility to process issues, system pain points and opportunities for improvement
Support new systems and process changes through training, business readiness and user adoption
Promote consistent processes and ways of working across multiple locations
Provide day to day process and systems support to users
Support data quality, operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

This is not a traditional IT or technical systems role. You may come from an operational training, business process, systems training or operational support background.

You will ideally have:

Experience working with end to end operational or business processes
Experience identifying capability needs and developing and delivering training
Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong systems aptitude and the ability to quickly learn multiple business applications
Experience developing training materials, user guides or competency assessments
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Willingness to travel nationally to support operations and deliver training
Experience within a service based operational environment and exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP or M3 will be highly regarded.
