The Systems Specialist is responsible for building capability and driving consistent execution of operational processes and business systems across Epiroc's Parts & Services Division.
 
Working closely with key stakeholders, the Systems Specialist will develop and maintain a strong understanding of end to end business processes and the systems that support them, providing specialist guidance, training and ongoing support to users across the business.
 
The role requires someone who can understand complex operational processes and systems, identify capability gaps, and translate these into effective training and development initiatives that build capability and improve operational consistency.
 
Key Responsibilities of the role:
 
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key operational processes and the business systems used to execute them.
  • Provide training and support to employees on operational processes, system functionality and the effective use of business systems.
  • Identify training and capability needs across PSD and develop structured training plans to address identified gaps.
  • Develop and deliver operational and systems training through face to face sessions, presentations and user guides across Epiroc locations nationally.
  • Develop and administer competency assessments to validate employee knowledge and capability.
  • Support the implementation of new systems, including business readiness, training, user adoption and ongoing support.
  • Promote consistent application of operational processes and system practices across locations.
  • Provide day to day specialist support to users, investigating and resolving system and process related issues.
  • Support data quality and integrity across ERP and related business systems.
  • Develop and maintain operational reporting to support business decision making.
 
Key Competencies of the role:
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced operational systems or business process professional who can work independently and confidently engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
 
  • Experience working with ERP and other enterprise business systems within a complex operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of end to end operational processes and how they are supported by business systems.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying capability needs and developing and delivering structured operational and systems training.
  • Experience developing effective training materials, user guides and competency assessments
  • Strong systems aptitude and the ability to confidently work across and learn multiple business applications.
  • Strong focus on process consistency, data quality, continuous improvement and user capability.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels of the organisation.
  • Willingness to travel nationally to support operations and deliver face to face training.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
 
Experience within a service based operational environment, together with exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP or M3, will be highly regarded.
