Your mission as a Boilermaker

Are you a skilled Boilermaker looking to bring your trade to a high-performance mining environment? You'll work alongside a skilled maintenance team, responding to breakdowns, reinforcing critical components, and delivering fabrication solutions that keep the operation moving. What you’ll do

• Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs on Epiroc equipment in accordance with OEM quality standards and specifications.
• Repair, modify, and reinforce worn or damaged components to improve functionality, reliability, and structural integrity.
• Diagnose structural and fabrication-related faults and respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs on site.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities alongside the on-site service team.
• Work from basic drawings, sketches, or instructions to deliver quality fabrication outputs.
• Use hand and power tools safely and maintain all tools and workshop equipment in good working condition.
• Support operational improvement initiatives through fabrication solutions, site modifications, and general workshop maintenance.
• Ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act, Epiroc and client SHEQ standards, and maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment (5S).

What you’ll bring

• Grade 12 and a Qualified Boilermaker Trade Certificate (Essential).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fabrication, welding, or maintenance roles, preferably within mining or heavy equipment environments.
• Hands-on experience in the assembly and building of structures or equipment.
• Strong proficiency with hand tools and fabrication equipment.
