Epiroc is looking for a driven Site Supervisor to ensure optimal equipment performance while fostering a strong team culture. Your Mission

• Lead and coordinate maintenance and breakdown teams to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations;
• Oversee planned and unplanned maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and uptime;
• Ensure compliance with mine standards, engineering procedures, and safety regulations across all activities;
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of maintenance work, breakdowns, and equipment performance;
• Drive cost efficiency while optimising equipment life cycles and spares usage;
• Identify and manage risks, ensuring hazards are addressed and safety standards upheld;
• Support and develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and collaboration with training functions.

Your Profile:

• Trade Test in Diesel Mechanic, Earthmoving Mechanic, Electrician, or Millwright, with a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• A diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline is considered advantageous
• Minimum of 4–5 years post-apprenticeship experience in mining or heavy industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role;
• Strong technical expertise in maintenance of mining equipment, including medium to large blasthole drill rigs, with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting capability;
• Exposure to automation, digitalisation, or advanced machine control systems, with sound computer literacy (MS Office);
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental standards with the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Proven leadership capability with strong communication skills and the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Commitment to driving team discipline, accountability, and a strong culture of safety and operational excellence;
• Valid driver’s license, with a relevant diploma or supervisory qualification considered advantageous.
