We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase to Pay (PtP) Accountant to join our Financial Shared Services Center in Prague. If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and collaborating with colleagues across the globe, this role could be a great next step for you.
Your Mission
As a PtP Accountant, you will help ensure smooth and efficient Purchase to Pay operations for Epiroc’s business units. Your work will contribute directly to timely and accurate financial processes and strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing supplier transactions, including invoices and credit notes
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and resolving any mismatches
- Posting invoices into the accounting system on a daily and timely basis, ensuring correct coding to GL accounts and cost centers
- Preparing payment proposals and supporting month-end closing and reporting activities
- Analyzing vendor accounts and resolving negative balances
- Reconciling vendor accounts
- Working in line with defined KPIs and company policies
- Communicating with vendors to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries
- Supporting internal stakeholders, providing clear and solution-oriented service
- Participating in improvement and optimization initiatives within PtP processes
- Contributing to ad‑hoc projects and special tasks as assigned
Your profile
We are looking for a team player who combines strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. You enjoy learning, working with data, and contributing to continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in Finance
- Good understanding of finance processes and basic accounting principles
- Fluent English, knowledge of any other language is a an advantage
- Solid practical knowledge of Excel
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Client-oriented approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Openness to change and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A responsible and innovative mindset, with willingness to suggest and drive improvements
- Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic (valid work permit, if applicable)
