Your Mission
As Regional Compliance Officer for Central Europe, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, updating, and enforcing risk‑based annual compliance programs for the Region covering applicable compliance areas, for implementing group-level compliance decisions into local and regional operations, for ensuring that local entities operates in accordance with applicable compliance obligations and for providing guidance and independent oversight to support compliance management for all entities within the region. The role is highly independent and hands-on, with a strong focus on practical implementation.
You will:
- Act as the regional owner for compliance across Central Europe - consisting of 24 countries covered by 11 Epiroc legal entites.
- Translate and implement group compliance decisions into effective local execution
- Ensure compliance with Czech, other applicable local laws and regulations and EU regulations.
- Integrate compliance requirements into operational and business processes
- Adapt global policies to local needs while maintaining clear structure and version control)
- Provide expert compliance guidance and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders
- Support and contribute to compliance-related risk management activities
- Drive communication, awareness, and training initiatives, including onboarding and regular compliance training
- Collaborate closely with country managers, local trade compliance representatives, and Group Compliance
- Act as an internal influencer, helping to embed a strong compliance culture across the organization
- Lead one direct report and ensure effective regional coverage
Your Profile
You are a senior, confident, and calm compliance professional who is comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of your area. You build trust naturally and can influence without formal authority.
We believe you have:
- At least 5 years of experience working in Compliance and/or Legal roles within an EU country
- Solid knowledge of key compliance areas such as Anti‑Bribery, Data Privacy and Trade Compliance
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Experience working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and experience in compliance risk management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear way
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility
- )A self-driven, action-oriented mindset with the confidence to work independently
Location and other
This position is located in Prague, Czech Republic. We can offer a hybrid workplace - a way of working that provides flexibility and promotes a healthier balance between professional and personal life. Occasional travel is required.
This position is open to candidates who are already based in Czech Republic. Due to the urgency of the recruitment, we are not able to support or consider international relocations - including relocation at one’s own expense - and no relocation package is offered.
