Mission of the Role:

It all starts with people. People like you. Join us as an Electronic Engineer and be a vital part of our team! You'll lead the design and development of electronic systems for our Collision Avoidance/Awareness Systems (CxS), ensuring adherence to industry standards and driving innovation

 

Your Mission:

  • Design and develop electronic systems for Mernok’s current and future Proximity Detection Systems.
  • Develop embedded applications for microcontrollers / microprocessor in control systems.
  • Design Electronic applications - from schematic capture, PCB layout to test, planning and implementation to meet requirements, using good engineering practices
  • Develop component qualification processes for extreme environments.
  • Continually improve Mernok’s design methodology and development processes
  • Consider system aspects that may affect the electronics, including noise and power distribution.
  • Implement the design in hardware, firmware and software.
  • Generate production data packs and product support documentation
  • Maintain existing products in terms of software changes, PCB updates, firmware changes and documentation.
  • Support and maintain existing and new product designs, including software updates, PCB revisions, and documentation generation, to ensure product reliability and longevity.
  • Conduct thorough hardware testing and implement necessary corrections to meet design specifications and quality standards.

 

Your Profile:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, computer science or a related field is required.
  • Beginner experience required in project management, encompassing skills such as resource allocation, risk management, and successful project delivery.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in firmware, hardware, or software design, demonstrating proficiency in solving complex challenges inherent in electronic design, firmware development, or software engineering, with a knack for devising innovative and effective solutions that push the boundaries of existing technologies.
