Job Description – PtP Account Analyst

 

Job description

  • Process accounts payable transactions (invoices, credit notes)
  • Match supplier invoices with purchase orders, goods receipt note and resolve discrepancies
  • Post invoices into accounting system on a daily and timely basis while ensuring invoices are coded to the correct GL accounts and cost centres.
  • Purchase return/rejection credit notes accounting and recovery
  • Prepare data and documents for payment processing
  • Support month-end activities for JO posting and preparing schedules and reports related to payables.
  • Prepare vendor ageing and tracking of debit balances
  • Verify transactions for withholding tax treatment
  • Analyse vendor accounts, solve negative balances
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Performance according to KPI and company policy.
  • Communicate with sourcing to resolve account discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Communicate with internal customers, provide support and solutions
  • Communication with counterpart in product company, tax team and auditors
  • Participate on improvement and optimization projects.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and special tasks, as assigned

 

Experience requirements

 

  • Experience in the AP area / Customer service advantage

 

Knowledge

 

  • English at a communicative level
  • User PC skills (knowledge of ERP/M3 system will be an advantage)
  • Excel basics
  • Finance & Accounting process understanding & accounting knowledge

 

Educational requirements

 

  • University degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
