Job description:

Primary :

-        Duty Draw Back benefits – process & execution knowledge.

-        SVB & Other registrations & formalities at Customs

-        Yearly contracts with freight forwarders / CHA & Transportation

-        Process improvisation through technology & tools

-        Team management

o   Conflict management

o   Walking with the team together towards common goal

Operational Day To Day 

Responsible for ensuring import functions (By AIR and SEA) for Part Centre PSD Division and performing range of activities to facilitate the timely and accurate import and shipment of Parts & equipment.

-        Handling Queries & provide required data / information to all the stack holders on forwarding and custom clearance.

-        Customs/DGFT/GST Regulatory compliance for MRS Part Centre shipments

-        Cost savings in areas like forwarding, inbound transportation, custom clearance and other local charges.

-        Ensure timely submission of various documents to taxation department.

-        Rate contracting for Transportation and clearing agent.

-        Obtaining airfreight / sea freight quotations from freight forwarders as and when required by business.

-        Effective communication and Co-ordination with overseas shippers for shipping and provide instructions in timely manner and tracking their efficiency.

-        Vendor bill & claim processing and timely submission to accounts.

-        E-way bill management for inbound transportation.

      Mission:

-        The scope of this roles covers all aspect of In-bound and outbound logistics with principal accountability of Streamline the process.  To ensure all legal compliance with custom, bank & other govt. organisations are met. Operational cost analysis with negotiation & finalization of rates for respective service providers.

Experience requirements:

-        Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in Import Export Management, Shipping Management and foreign trade.

-        Hands on experience on BIS & other compliance certification for Electrical, safety & mechanical goods import

-        Hands on experience on SVB + Merchant trading + Indent sales 

Knowledge requirements:

-        Import & Export, shipping, customs, freight forwarding and foreign trade knowledge,  

-        Power BI , Presentations

Educational requirements:

-        Bachelor in Commerce / Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) / Diploma in Import & Export will be added advantage.

Personality requirements:

-        Good communicator, Negotiator and self–motivated

-        Good Verbal & Written communication

-        Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

-        Self driven & drive towards using technology & available resources

-        Thought through for continuous process improvisation

-        Dynamic person who will work as a very good team leader
