Talent Acquisition Business Partner - Epiroc India

Epiroc is looking for an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join and lead the newly created Epiroc India Talent Acquisition Team, providing a best-in-class Recruitment experience and support to our managers across the organization. You will have responsibility for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and discussing the strategic value and differing contributions of candidates to find the best fit for the business.
In collaboration with the HR Manager India community, you will help identify upcoming talent, provide guidance, and encourage internal mobility. You will contribute to selecting the assessment tools that best support the recruitment process. You will apply the same to candidate selection and team development, facilitating communication, psychological safety, and growth opportunities.
In this role, your responsibilities will be to:
1. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Source high-quality candidates for niche and emerging technology roles through platforms like LinkedIn and other job portals, and internal databases.
- Build strategic talent pipelines for roles in engineering, product development, data, cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and innovation functions.
- Engage passive candidates by understanding their motivation, career interests, and technical expertise.
2. End-to-End Recruitment Management
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing → screening → interviews → feedback → offer → onboarding.
- Conduct detailed screening interviews to evaluate technical, functional, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview processes with hiring managers, panellists, and leadership teams.
- Provide timely communication and ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
3. Offer Management & Compensation Understanding
- Effectively negotiates and closes offers by applying foundational knowledge of compensation, benefits, and total rewards principles.
- Present competitive and balanced offers aligned with internal parity and market benchmarks.
- Serve as a point of contact for candidate queries related to C&B aspects, policies, or role clarity.
4. Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Collaboration
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team structure, expectations, and project needs.
- Advise stakeholders on market intelligence, talent availability, and hiring timelines.
- Conduct regular sync-ups with stakeholders to report hiring status, challenges, and pipeline health.
5. Recruitment Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate data on ATS systems, track hiring metrics, and support recruitment dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to hiring policies, data privacy norms, and diversity hiring practices.
- Support employer branding initiatives, careers page content, and hiring campaigns for the Tech Center.
6. Innovation‑Focused Initiatives
- Contribute to building a high-performance talent ecosystem for the Innovation & Technology Center.
- Participate in hackathons, university partnerships, referral drives, and talent community events.
- Promote hiring programs like lateral hiring, talent mobility, diversity hiring, and future‑skills recruitment.
Experience and requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of search and recruitment experience from a Multinational company experience and understanding of psychometric psychological assessments.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA in HR will be preferred.
- Fluent spoken and written English, additional languages applicable in the Indian market are a plus International experience and familiarity with multicultural and matrix organizational structure.
- Strong sourcing and screening capability for technology roles.
- Understanding of compensation, benefits, and total rewards principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
- Familiarity with modern recruitment tools, ATS platforms, and sourcing automation.
