Corporate Legal Counsel Epiroc India
Epiroc is looking for a corporate legal counsel with the responsibility for Epiroc India. You will be serving Epiroc’s India organization with legal advice related to the businesses in which Epiroc is operating and will also uphold the role as Company Secretary for Epiroc India legal board. The position is preferably based in Pune, other hubs like Bangalore or Hyderabad can be discussed.
Your mission
In this role you will provide legal advice in a variety of areas to mitigate risk and create commercially viable solutions. You will manage acquisition projects and outsourcing projects from a legal point of view and coordinate work conducted by external lawyers. The role also includes reviewing agreements and facilitating and giving advice on business transactions regarding sales, service, rental, purchase, distribution, software, joint development, IPR, confidentiality, financing, real estate purchase and lease.
Your extended team
The Epiroc Group Legal Affairs team currently consists of ten lawyers based in Sweden, China, US, Canada, Australia and Kazakhstan. Group Legal Affairs is part of Epiroc Group Legal which also includes Group Compliance and Group Risk & Insurance.
Your profile
We see that you have 10-15 years of experience of general corporate commercial issues and preferably intellectual property and real estate law from a law firm and in-house legal positions. You have experience of working in an international environment and within different legal areas. As a person you are a solution and business-oriented team player with a practical approach. You are service minded and have a high integrity. Interest in and understanding technical matters is an advantage. Fluent in English and Hindi. University degree in law.
Travels
Occasional travel is required, therefore availability and interest in travel is required.
Reporting
You will report directly to the President of Epiroc India and dotted line to Head of Legal, Epiroc Group.
