- Reporting To: Business Line Manager (BLM) – Digital Solutions Division
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager – Digital Solutions Division plays a critical role in driving business growth and market development for Epiroc’s digital solutions portfolio in India.
This role partners closely with the Business Line Manager and regional teams to define strategy, enable sales execution, and ensure effective positioning of products in the market. The incumbent will act as a key interface between global/divisional teams and regional operations, ensuring alignment, knowledge transfer, and successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Development
- Support the BLM in developing and executing business strategies aligned with regional and global objectives
- Drive sales planning, target setting, and execution across regions
- Develop and implement marketing plans including campaigns, promotions, and product positioning initiatives
- Ensure profitability and sustainable growth of the digital solutions portfolio
Sales Enablement & Market Development
- Act as a subject matter expert for digital solutions, supporting regional sales teams with application knowledge and value-based selling
- Identify and develop new market opportunities and strengthen customer engagement
- Maintain and continuously update a robust pipeline of potential and existing customers
- Support preparation of customized technical and commercial proposals to win business
Product & Portfolio Management
- Manage and optimize the product portfolio to ensure the right solutions are offered to customers
- Collaborate with global/divisional teams to stay updated on product developments and innovations
- Drive development of customer-specific solutions and localized offerings
Customer Engagement & Support
- Participate in key customer interactions, technical discussions, and negotiations
- Support regional teams in closing deals and managing customer relationships
- Ensure superior customer experience through cross-functional collaboration
- Lead and participate in customer events, workshops, and product demonstrations
Marketing & Competitive Intelligence
- Develop and maintain sales collateral, presentations, and technical documentation
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
Reporting & Governance
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and key initiatives
- Prepare and contribute to Business Review/Performance Meetings (BRMs/BPMs)
- Ensure accurate tracking of orders and compliance with internal systems and processes
Team & Capability Development
- Support regional teams in enhancing product knowledge and sales capabilities
- Promote a culture of performance, collaboration, and customer-centricity
- Uphold high standards of integrity, safety, and professional conduct
Travel
- Extensive travel across India is required to support customer engagement and regional sales activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mining, IT, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical)
- MBA (Marketing) is an advantage
Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or service within the mining, construction, or related industries
- Proven track record in sales/marketing and business development
- Experience with digitalization and automation solutions is highly desirable
