Reports To
The Marketing Manager reports to the Business Line Manager (BLM).

Job Overview
The Marketing Manager – Tools Division supports the Business Line Manager in shaping strategy and translating it into effective business activities executed across regions. The role holder is responsible for managing the product portfolio, helping ensure the right products and applications are offered to customers, distributors, and stockists, and supporting target setting, strategy execution, and cross-regional coordination. This role places strong emphasis on strategic planning, clear communication, disciplined execution, and continuous product and market development, with a focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to business growth, market development, and customer success through the following key responsibilities:
- Drive territory plans, sales targets, and business development priorities for the DTS product line.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives in collaboration with regional and cross-functional teams.
- Support customers and sales teams with technical and commercial solutions that improve business conversion.
- Manage key customer and partner interactions and recommend fit-for-purpose DTS solutions.
- Generate market insights on customers, applications, competitors, and pricing to support growth decisions.
- Coordinate sales tools, technical documentation, contracts, and reporting to support effective execution.
- Contribute to product improvement, business reviews, and cross-functional planning with the Business Line Manager.
- Strengthen regional capability and customer experience through close stakeholder collaboration and responsive issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, preferably with a specialization in Marketing
Experience:
- Typically, 10–12 years of experience in sales, marketing, or contracts related to drilling equipment. Candidates with comparatively less experience may be considered as Product Manager.
- Experience with Surface and Underground mining, Rotary and Raise Boring applications, or Rock drilling tools would be an added advantage.
