National Operation Manager-Parts and Service
Epiroc India is looking for a dynamic National Operation Manager for Parts and Service division.
The National Operations Manager will have full accountability for end-to-end operations of the parts and service business line across India customer centre (includes, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, excluding Hindustan Zinc Operation). This includes leading contract setup from early discussions, ensuring seamless mobilization and execution, delivering committed performance throughout the contract period, driving renewals, and managing closure/handover. The role focuses on operational excellence, safety leadership, financial profitability, team performance, and superior customer outcomes to grow the contract business while minimising risks and costs.
The role focuses on achieving aggressive contract revenue growth, building strong customer relationship in mining and infrastructure sectors and leading high performing contracts team to deliver exceptional customer value and business results in aligning India operations with global PSD strategies.

- Ensure adherence to Epiroc’s values, ethical standards, and contract obligation
- Lead end-to-end contract operations for all active PSD service contracts in India CC territory, Support sales team from pre-contract discussions (technical/commercial alignment, risk assessment) through contract signing.
- Responsible for mobilization (resource planning, site setup along with regional team, execution (daily/ongoing delivery), performance reviews, renewals/extensions, to final closure and demobilization.
- Develop and execute operational strategies, resource plans, and budgets to meet or exceed contract commitments, including preventive maintenance, breakdowns, parts supply, audits, training, and value-added services.
- Oversee multi-site/field operations, workshops, and support teams to ensure high-quality, timely service delivery aligned with customer SLAs and Epiroc standards.
- Champion a safety-first culture; enforce compliance with Epiroc safety protocols, local regulations, and contract-specific safety requirements across all contract activities.
- Monitor contract performance in real-time using data analytics; conduct regular reviews with customers and internal stakeholders to demonstrate value, address deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage contract risks, escalations, change orders, penalties, and variations; ensure robust documentation, evidence collection, and dispute resolution.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, supply chain, technical support, finance, and global teams to optimize parts availability, cost control, and innovation (e.g., digital monitoring tools).
- Lead, coach, and develop the contract operations team (supervisors, engineers, planners, coordinators) for high performance, competency building, and succession.
- Prepare detailed forecasts, variance reports, profitability analysis, and executive summaries; contribute to annual PSD planning and contract portfolio strategy.
- Ensure ethical compliance, sustainability practices, and continuous improvement in contract operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/mining engineering or equivalent, Diploma with relevant may also be considered.
- 10-15+ years in operations/service management within mining, heavy equipment, or industrial aftermarket sectors.
- 5+ years leading end-to-end service contract operations (performance-based, fleet maintenance, or similar).
- Proven track record delivering profitable contracts, high uptime, and safety excellence in India mining/infrastructure environments.
- Experience managing multi-site teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong operational leadership, risk management, and contract lifecycle expertise.
- Analytical/data-driven mindset with proficiency in KPI dashboards, ERP/CRM (e.g. Salesforce).
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
- Safety leadership and change management abilities.
- Fluency in English; Hindi/regional languages advantageous.
- Willingness to travel extensively to sites and offices.
