Job Description

This role is designed to transform Finance into a high-performing, future-ready function by architecting development pathways for both managers and teams. It ensures that Finance leaders evolve from first-time managers into confident, self-sustaining leaders, while teams continuously upskill to meet the demands of a dynamic business environment.

Role Overview:
This is an individual contributor role within the Finance management team, responsible for designing and implementing strategies that elevate team capability managerial effectiveness, and operational agility.  This role is responsible for driving transformation through people and process excellence, while also focusing on building high-performing, self-sustaining teams and developing managers from emerging leaders into confident, capable decision-makers.  By embedding continuous learning and process innovation, this role  ensures that Finance evolves into a high-performing, future-ready function aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Finance leadership to identify skill gaps, process inefficiencies, and performance opportunities across teams and managers.
  • Design and implement structured development frameworks that accelerate leadership growth for new managers, enabling them to become confident, self-sustaining leaders.
  • Create tailored training and development plans that enhance technical, analytical, and leadership skills within Finance teams.
  • Lead initiatives that embed process excellence and process transformation into Finance operations, ensuring teams adopt best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Build organizational agility by equipping teams to adapt quickly to Finance Forward initiatives, regulatory changes, and evolving business needs.
  • Establish continuous learning pathways that embed resilience, adaptability, and collaboration into the Finance function.
  • Monitor progress and measure impact of development initiatives, ensuring alignment with Finance’s strategic objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, coaching them through challenges and guiding them toward sustainable leadership practices.
  • Collaborate with senior Finance leaders to ensure development initiatives support long-term organizational performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong background in Finance with proven understanding of functional priorities and challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering capability-building initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders while working independently.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to measure performance outcomes and adapt strategies accordingly.
