The Quality Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing claims related to damaged, lost, or incorrect shipments within the warehouse. This role involves coordinating with various departments, customers, and carriers to ensure timely resolution of claims and maintaining accurate records.

Main Accountabilities: 

  • Claims Management: Receive, review, and process claims for damaged or incorrect shipments. Ensure all claims are documented accurately and resolved in a timely manner
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all claims-related inquiries. Communicate effectively with customers, and internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all claims, including supporting documentation such as photos, invoices, and correspondence.
  • Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into claims to determine the cause and liability. Work with the warehouse team to implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on claims activity, trends, and resolutions. Provide insights and recommendations to management for process improvements.
  • Compliance: Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing claims promptly and professionally. Strive to maintain positive relationships with customers and carriers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics Operations / Supply Chain Management
  • Certifications in Lean / ASQ/ ISO advantageous / DG
  • 1-3 years of experience in claims handling, warehouse/distribution operations, or supply chain coordination
  • Familiar with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., M3)
  • Lean 6 Sigma
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills with high attention to detail. Tools exposed to include Powerpoint , excel , word
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work with urgency and manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of inventory/financial adjustments and credit note processing
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain flows, Warehouse operations processes
  • Basic knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations
  • Singaporean and Permanent residents only
