Grinding and Painting Operator
Mission of the role:
The Grinding and Painting Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that Rotary and Down-the-Hole (DTH) products meet the highest standards of finish quality and durability. This role involves hands-on operation of grinding machines, meticulous painting of products, and maintenance of the paint booth environment to ensure safety and quality compliance. The position is vital for maintaining the production workflow and supporting overall manufacturing efficiency.
Your Mission:
- Perform precise grinding and painting of Rotary and DTH drilling tools according to established specifications and quality standards.
- Operate grinding machines safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the paint booth and associated equipment to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Assist with the movement of raw materials and products within the manufacturing area as required.
- Support additional related production tasks to facilitate team objectives and operational needs.
Your Profile:
- Minimum educational qualification: Grade 12 / Standard 10.
- Valid crane operator license.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, especially related to painting and dusty environments.
- Medically fit to work in conditions involving dust and paint fumes.
- Competence with TRACC (5S) methodology to maintain organized and efficient workspaces.
- Previous experience in a similar industrial environment would be advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when necessary to meet production targets.
