Your Mission:
Manage and strengthen strategic relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and promoting the sustained growth of the company. Act as the main liaison between the client and the company, identifying business opportunities and ensuring the implementation of comprehensive solutions that maximize value for both parties. Lead initiatives aimed at achieving commercial objectives while maintaining a focus on long-term profitability. Additionally, provide other areas of the organization with strategic information and value-added data that support the sales and marketing of capital equipment, spare parts, services, and drilling tools, driving informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic clients, acting as their main point of contact within the company.
- Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and develop strategies to increase sales volume and market share.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s needs, operations, and strategy, and design/implement a customized marketing plan to increase market share and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements, ensuring the achievement of profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Oversee the correct implementation of agreed contracts and projects, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
- Maintain control and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring the accuracy of records and material availability for the site.
- Take responsibility for the account's P&L (profit and loss).
- Travel to client locations as necessary to successfully meet objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, technical service, etc.) to ensure efficient delivery of products and services to the client.
- Act as a facilitator to resolve client issues or concerns, ensuring smooth communication between different areas of the company.
Ensure and maintain accurate information on fleet usage (Epiroc and competitors), drilling parameters, and efficiency to develop strategic business cases and identify future threats/opportunities. - Ensure that monthly reports, market intelligence, feedback, and industry trends are properly reported to the respective business lines.
- Communicate regularly with counterparts within the Epiroc Chile Customer Center.
- Continuously monitor the market and competition, identifying trends and changes that may affect the accounts under responsibility.
- Work closely with the marketing team to design strategies that strengthen the company’s market position.
- Develop personalized strategic plans for each key account, aligned with the company's overall commercial objectives.
- Implement strategic initiatives and assist in introducing new products.
- Ensure that the solutions and services offered comply with the highest safety and quality standards.
- Ensure that implemented projects follow environmental and quality regulations required by both the company and the client.
Your profile:
- Professional degree in Commercial Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields ideally with training in marketing or business administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and account management roles, preferably in industries such as mining, heavy machinery, or industrial solutions.
- Prior experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing large-scale key accounts.
- Advanced knowledge in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in related industries.
- Experience in managing complex commercial projects, ideally in MARC contracts or similar.
- Skills: excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage long-term relationships and multiple stakeholders, strategic focus with the ability to identify business opportunities, ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple accounts, leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
