Drill Technician

Main Accountabilities
GENERAL
- Attend & follow up meeting such as daily pre-shift meeting, safety meeting, and safety inspection.
- Proactively providing feedback to improve aspects of safety, health, environment, and service quality.
- Implement good communication ethics with Customers and with co-workers, both to receive information properly and to distribute/ convey information.
- Implement cooperation in the workplace, which includes identifying the goals and roles of the group to produce effective and appropriate contributions.
SERVICE
- To conduct preparation of service job, repair & installation including tools, parts, consumable etc.
- To conduct inspection and maintenance of machine, tools, equipment, facility, parts listing, refurbishment/ overhaul customer equipment in a timely manner to ensure positive customer relations.
- Actively participate in the daily work plan; always promote a positive working environment with both co-workers and customers.
- Implement correct maintenance philosophy in all service agreement with customers and recommend continuous improvement.
- Perform the failure analysis to determine root cause and contribute to product and system improvement.
- Analyze and recommend order of goods to Admin & Contract Supervisor (for consumables) and Drill Foreman, Drill Supervisor and Maintenance Planner (for spare parts).
- Prepare required documents for warranty related issues and monitor warranty claim closing.
- Adopt a "pro-active" rather than a "re-active" approach.
REPORTING
- Provide detailed service report (schedule or non-scheduled) as required by PTAMNT and distribute to customers.
- Provide report of spare parts used by Service Department.
- Perform pre-start inspection prior conduct an activity, (e.g., light vehicle, tools, machine, facility, etc), completion of SHEQ documents during maintenance practice (Procedure, Safe Check, JHA, etc.), manage documents archive as evidence and register in database.
- Complete the time sheet and leave (annual leave, field break, sick leave, etc.) in Absence Database system before process Payroll.
SHEQ
- Maintain the workplace cleanliness, healthiness, and safety.
- Coordinate with the Drill Foreman, Drill Supervisor, Operation Supervisor if there are problems on the job, or if there are unsafe conditions or unsafe actions while working.
- Immediately report to direct superior any "Near Miss, Incident and Accident".
- Conduct all activity complying and committed to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality aspect, applicable legal requirements & other requirement.
- Comply and implement the Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures.
- Implement 5S principles in daily activity (Sort - sortir; Simplify - ringkas; Shine - bersih; Standardize - standarisasi; Sustain - pertahankan).
- Fulfil Safety Tracker (Safety Meeting, Safety Inspection, Safety Interaction) as per customer requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities in SMKP
- Mine workers must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Mine workers are required to perform work in accordance with safe work procedures.
- Immediately take action or report to the supervisor about a potentially dangerous situation.
- Pay attention or keep the safety of himself or others.
- Mining workers who see or hear of any deviations from the execution of the work shall immediately report to the supervisor.
- Miners are required to use and maintain personal protective equipment.
- Mining workers are required to provide correct information when requested by Mine Inspection Officer or the Head of Mining Engineering.
- Mining workers have the right to express work objection if the Health and Safety requirements are not met.
Job Qualification
Educational Background:
- Diploma/ SMK Majoring in Technical or have experience at relevant field.
Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years related experience in the mining and construction industry or relevant.
- Strong knowledge of Epiroc product and services.
