Hydraulic Service Technician

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
General
- Attend and follow up meeting such as daily pr-shift meeting, safety meeting, and safety inspection.
- Proactively providing feedback to improve aspects of safety, health, environment, and service quality.
- Implement good communication ethics with customer and with co- workers, both to receive information properly and to distribute/ convey information.
- Implement cooperation in the workplace, which includes identifying the goals and roles of the group to produce effective and appropriate contributions.
Service
- To conduct preparation of service job, repair and installation including tools, parts, consumable, etc.
- To conduct hydraulic inspection and maintenance of machine, tools, equipment, facility, parts listing, refurbishment/ overhaul customer equipment in a timely manner to ensure positive customer relations.
- Participate actively in Total Plant Shutdown (TPS), Minor Shutdown, and or any activities as required at Process Plant.
- Actively participate in the daily work plan; always promote a positive working environment with both co-workers and customers.
- Implement correct maintenance philosophy in all service agreement with customers and recommend continuous improvement.
- Perform the failure analysis to determine root cause and contribute to product and system improvement.
- Analyse and recommend order of goods to Admin & Contract Supervisor (for consumables) and Hydraulic Supervisor and Maintenance Planner (for spare parts).
- Prepare required documents for warranty related issues and monitor warranty claim closing.
- Adopt “Pro-active” rather than a “Re-active” approach.
Reporting
- Provide detailed service report (scheduled or non-scheduled).
- Provide report of spare parts used by Service Department.
- Perform pre-start inspection prior conduct an activity, completion of SHEQ documents during maintenance practice, manage documents archive as evidence and register in database.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Diploma/ SMK majoring in Technical or have experience in relevant field.
- A minimum of five (5) years related in the mining and construction industry or relevant.
- Strong knowledge of Epiroc products or services.
- Basic mechanical, Tooling, Hose & fitting, Hydraulic, Fire suppression system & Auto Lubrication System.
- Ability to create daily activity form and Failure Analysis (FAR).
- Computer skills include ability to operate Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa and English, both written and oral communication.
- Able to drive Light Vehicle and have driving license.
- Basic SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality).
