Field Service Technician - Surface

Epiroc Equipment Ghana Ltd. is looking for a Field Service Technician – Surface to join our service team in Tarkwa, Ghana. In this role, you will work closely with customers and colleagues to keep Epiroc surface equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently through high-quality inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. Your Mission

• Perform pre-delivery inspections, installations, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Epiroc surface equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Remote Control System (RCS) faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Conduct equipment repairs and technical interventions in both field and workshop environments.
• Ensure all work complies with Epiroc and customer Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements and technical standards.
• Maintain accurate digital maintenance and service records while providing clear technical feedback to customers and relevant stakeholders.
• Build strong customer and team relationships while continuously identifying opportunities to improve maintenance practices, equipment performance, and service delivery.

Your Profile

• Diploma, Certificate III, or equivalent trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with surface equipment, preferably within the mining industry.
• Proven experience working with Epiroc products, including equipment maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, disciplined, and resilient, with strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills.
