Product Specialist

As a Product Specialist at Epiroc Equipment Ghana Ltd., you will be at the heart of our Surface Service operations, using your technical expertise to improve equipment reliability, extend component life, reduce downtime, and help our customers achieve their operational targets. Based in Tarkwa, Ghana, this is an opportunity to work closely with customers and Epiroc teams while supporting world-class mining equipment in a safety-driven and performance-focused environment.

Your Mission

• Your mission is to provide expert technical support that maximizes equipment availability, reliability, and lifecycle performance while strengthening customer satisfaction and developing technical capability within our teams.
• Provide professional technical support to customers and Epiroc personnel, ensuring high standards of equipment performance and safety.
• Conduct condition monitoring and planned maintenance inspections, identify risks, raise repair notifications, and recommend effective maintenance strategies.
• Diagnose equipment failures and advise site maintenance teams on repairs and installations to minimize downtime and improve machine availability.
• Monitor recurring failures and repair frequency, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce production disruptions.
• Collaborate with Reliability & Maintenance Leads, Product Support, Service Operations, and other stakeholders to coordinate effective customer support strategies.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams while championing safety, quality, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Your Profile

• BSc or Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience working with surface mining equipment.
• Expert-level knowledge of Epiroc products, combined with strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Epiroc Technical Certification Level 2 or higher.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, coaching, and team-development capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and accurate technical documentation.
