The Warehouse Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, focusing on the management and control of stock that supports engineering and planning teams. The Warehouse Administrator supervises deliveries into warehouses, ensuring that all products are carefully accounted for, stored safely, and dispatched efficiently to internal teams and external customers. The role also involves overseeing warehouse staff, fostering a safe working environment, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence with adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
Your Mission
- Manage consignment stock, including receiving, issuing, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Conduct inventory counts, stock reconciliations, and support reverse logistics processes.
- Process quotations, procurement orders, and invoicing in line with company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, consumption trends, order availability, and replenishment requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and effective use of warehouse management systems.
- Maintain safe, efficient warehouse operations while providing logistical support to customers and stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Minimum Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply or related field.
- Demonstrated flexibility and commitment to participate in a 24-hour on-call operational schedule.
- Strong time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive heavy lifting with knowledge of correct and safe handling methods.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient computer literacy, with working knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel and Microsoft database systems.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all tasks.
