Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role within Epiroc Equipment Ghana Ltd., ensuring the efficient management and handling of inventory within the Supply Chain & Sourcing department of the Parts & Services Division EMEA. Situated at our Tarkwa location, this position is integral to maintaining the flow of materials and supplies essential for supporting engineering and planning activities. As part of our Customer Center team, the Warehouse Assistant will be engaged in comprehensive warehouse operations including inventory processing, organization, and order preparation to meet company standards and customer expectations.
Your Mission
- Manage consignment inventory, including stock receipt, dispatch, and accurate tracking.
- Maintain organized inventory and perform regular stock reconciliations.
- Process orders, prepare shipments, and handle invoicing documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment based on usage forecasts.
- Coordinate quotations, order fulfilment, and customer requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation, client communication, and compliance with warehouse safety standards.
Your Profile:
- A minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply Chain or related field is essential to understand the complexities of supply chain operations.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as this role involves a 24-hour on-call schedule, demanding adaptability and commitment.
- Excellent time management skills enabling the efficient handling of tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting while practicing all safety measures and ergonomic techniques.
- Strong teamwork skills balanced with the capacity to operate independently when required.
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Microsoft systems used in inventory management.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, stock control, and communication.
