Job Title: Key Account Manager 

 

Reports to: National Salaes Manager

 

Job Summary: The Key Account Manager is responsible for increasing sales revenue for all Epiroc products and solutions, managing and nurturing relationships with key clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention. This role involves understanding the clients’ needs, developing strategies to meet those needs, implementing proactive actions to mitigate and solve any issues, and identifying opportunities for growth.

As the Key Account Manager, you will work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries on time, and aspire to deliver a world-class customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Specifically, you'll:

  • Deliver the sales goals and growth targets by building long-term relationships with all levels at the customers, promoting programs and initiatives, and identifying conversion opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and deliver a world-class customer experience for all things sales, service, and support.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and maintain good communication between the customer and Epiroc.
  • Initiate, control and coordinate all divisional and cross divisional activities aimed at meeting customer requests and hitting sales targets
  • Forecast and develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales account plans and territory plans by state and key targets.
  • Actively utilize Salesforce to capture all sales opportunities, activities, customer contacts, whole good quoting (correct attachment for the right application), order conversion, and reporting.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all product lines for customers by conducting regular training and product education sessions for key accounts.
  • Attend and participate in all necessary training related to the product, technology and soft skills.
  • Attend and participate in company sales meetings, training programs, trade shows, and conventions as directed.
  • Commercialize new product development as deployed.

 


Experience and requirements:

You also have:


  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant selling experience
  • Required knowledge of principles and application of the mining market
  • Mechanical aptitude - must have the ability to understand basic machine and equipment operation and principal
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills on technical subjects with varying sizes of audience
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred; any CRM experience is helpful
  • Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and overall computer proficiency
