D&A Heavy Industries, based in Seoul, South Korea, manufactures and sells hydraulic breakers for customers in construction, demolition, rock excavation, quarrying and infrastructure. The company, which has a production facility outside Seoul, has about 60 employees and has been newly acquired by the Swedish Epiroc group.  

We offer an interesting opportunity for a passionate Sales Manager (m/f) to lead and manage the liaison between the customers, addressing their needs and concerns effectively and maintain strong relationship in the European market. The role is reporting to the Vice President Sales & Marketing of DandA. The position is based in Europe, close to one of our production or sales facilities. 
 

Mission

As a reliable, proactive partner for the marketing team, your mission is to safeguard that DandA continuously gains market shares in the segments we operate, being recognized as a solid partner and excellent equipment supplier. Insuring internal collaboration and satisfaction is a defining measurement of success.

 

Your tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Define offering solutions (hard & soft products)
  • Secure production slot via Forecast and/or Order Receive Expectancy tools
  • Sales to order process management, including internal production order to plant
  • Accounts receivable management
  • Follow up cost of selling product
  • Implement company price policy
  • New product/option
  • Collect customer requirements
  • Quote, negotiate, fix selling price
  • Coordinate introduction
  • Conduct sales training
  • Support to service training
  • Support to customer part engineering and communication document building
  • Market intelligence

 

Skills, knowledge & competencies for this role

You are a dynamic and result-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills. Your attitude is to work as one team and with integrity, you boost engagement among all stakeholders, internally and externally.

  • University degree in sales, marketing or engineering or an equivalent academic background
  • 5+ years in Sales, Marketing or Sales engineering, working with international customers
  • Experience in hydraulic breaker (or attachment) for excavator, backhoe-loader and skid steer load is an advantage
  • Ability to understand and analyze KPI’s
  • Good organizational, planning and follow up skills
  • Easy to work under international and global working culture
  • Excellent English speaking and writing
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Attitude to work as one team
  • Free to travel abroad
