Service Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

•    Carry out daily jobs as assigned by Service Manager/Service Supervisor
•    Attend to customers' problems regarding Parts and Services products and perform necessary repairs.
•    Apply and maintain all applicable safety standards at work.
•    Follow instructions given in the scope of works in service job/quotations.
•    Implement the correct working method, use the correct tool, and obey safety rules.
•    Write reports on jobs done on the service Job Order form, recommend, and follow up actions including the needed spare parts, if necessary.
•    Explain to customer if any follow-up or repair job needs to be done.
•    Feedback to onsite Service Supervisor on required follow-up actions.
•    Maintain satisfactory cleanliness at equipment and the surrounding area after service job is done.
•    Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all workshop equipment and/or tools.
•    Maintain service vehicle and upkeep workshop area.
•    Record time spent in field and workshop activities.
•    Any other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engineering graduate or graduate of vocational courses 
• Knowledgeable in computer software applications
• Willing to travel and/or be assigned to different project sites.
• More than five years of experience on heavy equipment maintenance preferably in underground or surface exploration
• Know how to interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams.
