Mission:

To oversee the workflow of production and ensure that operations are running productively and efficiently for the Parts & Services Global Remanufacturing Operations in Tucson, AZ. This position is responsible with assigning tasks to workshop employees, providing them with training as needed, and ensuring that their jobs are performed safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assign work to technicians and ensure they have the tools and PPE required for the work
• Conduct workstation and shop floor inspections
• Lead safety toolbox talks
• Approve time for hourly employees in ERP and HR systems daily.
• Direct employee human resource management
• Schedule shop employees, monitor productivity, efficiency, and utilization
• Monitor workshop condition and cleanliness
• Ensure required trainings are completed for direct employees and the training records are updated.
• Plan capacity as per production schedule (manpower, space, etc.)
• Review and approve cycle counts. Generate cycle count list and manage cycle count variance reports.
• Work with subcontractors on the quality and timely repair of piece parts, and relay drawings if required
• Validate part number and serial number of cores
• Provide support to technicians for parts evaluation, work instructions and reference materials.
• Conduct or monitor tools inspections and calibrations.
• Arrange packaging required for production.
• Review parts lists and core inspection reports, and work with technicians if updates or changes are required
• Coordinate production workflow with general maintenance worker, warehouse, and technicians
• Provide the accurate standard labour hours for service definitions.
• Interim manager if Global Reman Operations Manager is away
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a supervisor, or a relevant role
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial remanufacturing
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of remanufacturing processes and mining equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) experience is huge plus
• Residency or the willingness to relocate to the Tucson, AZ area

• High school/GED diploma
• Formal education in Millwright is an asset
