About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Two Harbors, MN. This is an entry-level, multi-skilled role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across our production and facility operations.

This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this position is $27.00-$34.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

Respond to maintenance work orders and complete repairs safely and efficiently
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, with and without schematics
Install, maintain, and support equipment such as:
- CNC machines
- Robotic welding systems
- Cranes, hoists, and automation equipment
Assist in diagnosing machine alarms, faults, and control issues
Perform inspections on motors, pumps, and other equipment
Support preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement efforts
Respond to facility-related issues such as alarms, leaks, and emergency repairs
Document work in maintenance systems and keep manuals up to date
Operate powered industrial vehicles and assist with general facility upkeep
Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE

What You Bring

Required:

High school diploma or GED
1–2 years of low-voltage electrical maintenance experience
Basic knowledge of:
- Power distribution and motor controls
- AC/DC variable speed drives
- PLCs and process controls
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Associate degree in electrical or electronics field
Journeyman electrician license (MN) or equivalent experience
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
