Join Our Team as a Warehouse Supervisor at Epiroc!

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our team, working on-site to manage the flow of service parts and products. This role involves supervising shipping and receiving team members and providing support in the overall operations of warehouse duties throughout the factory. Attention to detail and integrity are crucial, as maintaining an accurate inventory system is vital to our plant operations. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Location: Onsite in Two Harbors, MN

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, coach, and support warehouse employees to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent performance
• Provide direct reports with continuous feedback, manage attendance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Plan, assign, and prioritize daily warehouse workload based on production, shipping, receiving, and customer needs
• Responsible for performance metrics and leading daily “huddle board” meetings within the warehouse department
• Oversee the receiving of parts and materials, including physical receipt, system transactions, verification against packing slips or material travelers, and delivery to appropriate work cells or inventory locations
• Ensure customer and internal orders are picked, packed, shipped, and invoiced accurately and on time according to shipping lists, requests, and business requirements
• Monitor packaging processes to ensure products are protected appropriately for shipment using approved materials and methods
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of shipping supplies and materials to support daily operations
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure carrier selection and service levels align with transportation policies and operational priorities
• Ensure required shipping documentation is completed, provided, and retained in accordance with applicable document retention policies
• Oversee timely processing of returns from work cells, customers, and service departments, ensuring proper documentation and system accuracy
• Lead and maintain the cycle count program to support accurate inventory records for parts, tools, and materials.
• Collaborate with Planners, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Buyers, and other cross-functional partners to resolve operational issues and remove barriers to execution
• Champion Continuous Improvement and 5S initiatives by identifying opportunities, engaging team members, and supporting implementation of process improvements within the department
• Ensure team compliance with standard operating procedures, safety policies, and inbound and outbound trade compliance requirements
• Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental programs, policies, and procedures
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, including ensuring pallets, shelving units, and storage areas are suitable for the loads being handled and stored
• Ensure employees are properly trained and certified before operating overhead cranes, jib hoists, forklifts, and other lifting equipment, and reinforce safe equipment operation practices

This position is a Safety Sensitive Position. A Safety Sensitive Position is a position in which an employee performs duties that require a high degree of alertness, attention, accuracy, judgment, coordination, or safety awareness, and where impairment could reasonably result in serious injury, illness, death, property damage, or environmental harm. Examples may include operating motor vehicles, forklifts, cranes, heavy equipment, machinery, or performing work involving hazardous materials, energized equipment, confined spaces, or other high-risk activities

The compensation for this position is between $79,378 and $102,287 annually depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience is highly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using proper lifting techniques and lifting devices, including chains, straps, slings, as well as equipment like electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and overhead cranes, preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Infor M3 and third-party logistics software is a plus.

• Ability to reinforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standard operating practices
• Ability to use sound judgment, maintain accountability, and handle multiple priorities

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand continuously and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
• Must be able to walk intermittently throughout the workday
• Must be able to frequently bend, twist, crouch, push, pull, and perform repetitive elbow and shoulder movements
• Must be able to climb stepladders intermittently
• Must be able to occasionally work from heights while using required fall protection
• Must be able to lift up to 33 pounds independently

Work Environment

• This position works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and requires the use of personal protective equipment, including safety shoes and safety glasses. Hearing protection may be required in designated areas
• The role may include computer-based work at a workstation, as needed
• The employee must be able to safely navigate the manufacturing shop floor, including standing and walking for up to four hours at a time
• Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to heat, cold, wet or humid conditions, and dry or arid conditions
