Job Description:
Safety & Compliance: Create and uphold a culture of safety, health, and friendliness within the site team.
Implement strategies and ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with Epiroc's safety standards.
Operational Management: Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of mining equipment.
Ensure timely completion of repairs to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with service engineers and technicians for smooth workflow.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop workshop staff.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and encourage accountability.
Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on troubleshooting and complex repairs.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and facilities.
Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
Customer Focus: Work closely with clients to understand operational needs.
Deliver reliable service that supports customer productivity and satisfaction.
Qualification, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience: 8-12 years in workshop or mining equipment maintenance, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of mining machinery.
Leadership and team management.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Effective communication and reporting skills.
Strong written and communication skill.
