Position: KB Branch Manager
As the KB Branch Manager for Epiroc Mongolia LLC, you will lead and shape the operations and strategic development of our service center workshop in Khanbogd province, set to become an industry benchmark. This position, located at our Ulaanbaatar office, is a pivotal role within the Equipment & Service Business Area under the Parts & Services Division APAC.

Mission and Responsibilities
- Lead, actively support, and develop the KB Branch workshop and associated services to achieve a sustainable, profitable, and value-adding operation for both Epiroc and our customers.
- Champion a safe work environment by enhancing awareness and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and group safety standards, including conducting toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Continuously improve productivity and reduce turnaround times by implementing efficient workshop practices and monitoring key performance indicators such as WIP, productivity, utilization, job cycle times, and backlog.
- Establish and maintain an operational structure that supports the branch’s mission including oversight of workshop housekeeping, tooling, calibration, equipment readiness, and quality control processes.
- Manage the delivery of machine rebuilds and component remanufacturing services, ensuring adherence to Epiroc’s high standards and customer requirements.
- Oversee financial performance by achieving budget, forecasting revenue inputs and outputs, and meeting financial KPIs and targets.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to supply chain procedures and manage warehouse operations to comply with company SOPs and work instructions.
- Recruit, train, and retain the right talent for the branch, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance aligned with Epiroc’s values.
- Collaborate closely with planners to control costs throughout rebuild and repair operations and drive continuous innovation by adopting industry best practices.
- Engage proactively with customers to strengthen relationships, understand their needs, and promote a Customer-Value and Customer-Care-driven culture reflective of Epiroc’s vision.
Competences, Skills, and Experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire local teams towards a shared vision and strategy.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality, with experience ensuring compliance with SHEQ and other regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing service operations, including workshop management, supply chain coordination, and financial oversight.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey plans, roles, and expectations across all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency, capable of working through others to meet objectives.
- Effective planning and organizational skills, particularly for managing large and complex projects.
- Passionate about developing both customers and employees through a team-focused approach, fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment.
