Maintenance Superintendent

Are you ready to lead a high-performing maintenance team and deliver exceptional reliability and availability for our clients? Epiroc Mongolia LLC is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee large-scale maintenance operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all site activities.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the front-line liaison with the client on all site-related issues.
• Drive site safety standards and reporting in line with Epiroc and client requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of Maintenance Supervisors, ensuring workforce competency and commitment.
• Implement Live Work Elimination programs to enhance safety.
• Maintain detailed planning regimes and accurate records for full transparency.
• Exceed monthly contract KPIs (Availability, MTBF, MTTF, SL Ratio, Budget, Work Management, etc.).
• Develop and train your team, creating a succession plan for future growth.
• Collaborate with reliability engineers, planners, and inspectors to manage backlog and future work.
• Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
• Act as Project Manager when required and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor critical spares and ensure proactive communication with the Project Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience with large maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of equipment costs, reliability, and availability.
• Experience with planning packages and backlog management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor teams on safety protocols and risk assessment.
• Strong time management, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
