The technician is responsible for providing technical support and services in installation, configuration, repair, electronic systems development and telecommunication to our customers. He/she will be called to visit clients and sometimes to work in our workshop located in Val-d'Or.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main technical communication channel between the client and Meglab.
  • Offer technical assistance and be attentive to the client’s needs in order to propose appropriate solutions.
  • Install the equipment necessary for the proper functioning of the systems.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of leaky feeder, Equip Radio RF, communication cabinet, LTE networks.
  • Carry out the study of a problem (Troubleshooting) on site in order to find the solution to solve it and perform the repair.
  • Occasionally provide training to clients on equipment and different systems.

 

General skills:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience;
  • Electronics: Manufacturing, repair and installation;
  • Telecommunications: Installation, repair and programming;
  • Networking: Connection, installation and configuration;
    • DOCSIS Network;
    • LTE Network;
    • Wifi network;
    • Leaky feeder system;
  • Modular training for mining workers (an asset);
  • Explosive permit (an asset).

 

Additional tasks and responsibilities may be required.
