Human Resources Advisor – Replacement 1 year

Schedule 5-2

1-year replacement (maternity leave)

 

The Human Resources Advisor plans and manages the entire recruitment process. He/she analyzes needs, writes and distributes postings, pre-screens applications, conducts interviews and recommends candidates. He/she also supports managers in their decisions, ensures compliance with policies and legislation in force and contributes to the integration of new employees to ensure efficient and fair staffing.

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Support for the management of resumes.
  • Collect the necessary information and complete the full opening of employee and payroll files.
  • Onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintains management systems and records employed.
  • Participate in the planning of human resources needs with the directors and managers of the various departments.
  • Develop job postings and coordinate the interview and selection process for hiring employees, as required.
  • Support for the payroll department.

Desired profile

  • University degree (BA) in business administration or a related field with a specialization in human resources.
  • Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources management.
  • *Language: Fluency in English and French, written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Knowledge of labour law, occupational health and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of the mining sector is an asset.
  • Have an excellent understanding of how the business operates and its strategic objectives in order to plan the workforce effectively.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, such as colleagues, various vendors, and customers.

 

*Bilingualism is required for this position, as the majority of our employees use English. This skill is essential, as approximately 40% of responsibilities will be in English and 60% in French.
