Instrumentation and controls Technician
Mining Site (surface and underground)
Possible schedule : 4-3 and 7-7
The instrumentation and control technician ensures the programming and calibration of electrical and electronic instruments. They ensure that the necessary documentation is accessible and up to date to avoid construction and repair errors. They also ensure the understanding of wiring diagrams and the choice of equipment layout in control panels.
Main Tasks:
- Program and start up various equipment and systems.
- Commission equipment and systems at the client's site.
- Adhere to safety standards during the construction, repair, and maintenance of products according to different sites.
Profil requirements:
- College diploma in industrial electronics or equivalent
- Knowledge of electrical standards
- Knowledge of control networks
- Explosives permit
- Valid driver's license
- Modular Training program for mine workers (FMTM) (asset)
Additional tasks and responsibilities may be required.
