Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager at Epiroc!

This is a key position within the Epiroc Electrification Solutions (EES) team in Canada, developing business for our products in Western Canada in non-mining and mining areas. This is a challenging position within Epiroc involving working through complex issues for our customers, engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and promoting the solutions and capabilities of Epiroc’s electrification portfolio. Your ability to approach your work methodically, and your ability to prioritize tasks effectively will be key to your success in this role. Travel is expected via driving and by air which is almost exclusively within Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Main focus is to develop business within the Electrification Market in Canada, with emphasis on Western Canada and sales to new markets and market segments.
  • This will entail getting new business with new customers and market segments as well as supporting existing customers as required.
  • The job will also be involved in supporting the Epiroc Electrification Sales manager and sales team, as well as providing market information for the product team as required.

 

Knowledge/Education:

  • Electrical education and background preferred.
  • Past sales and business development experience is an asset
  • 3 to 5 years work experience preferred 

 

Experience:

  • A background in electrical with knowledge in industrial electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience in sales and business development
  • Experience in battery electrical vehicles, electric charging, and energy storage or related topics is an asset.
  • A technical sales mindset.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to find common ground with people approaching projects from differing perspectives.
  • A strong ability and desire to solve problems and provide customer solutions.
  • A competitive nature - the desire to succeed for your customers, yourself and Epiroc. 
  • Ability and drive to work independently.
  • Able to travel as required – travel requirements around 2 weeks per month.
  • Able to visit underground mines, open pit mines, industrial sites etc.

Wage/salary for position: $95,912.00 - $126,870.00
