About the role

We are looking for a supportive and motivated person with a genuine interest in Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ). In this role you are part of a Nordic sustainability team responsible for coordinating safety, sustainability, and sourcing efforts in Finland and Estonia. You will learn on the job and support our teams in a practical and understanding way that fits well with our company culture.

Your responsibilities

• Support daily sustainability and sourcing tasks in close collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Help promote a strong culture of safety and sustainability to prevent injuries and environmental impact.
• Coordinate and execute health and safety training and audits.
• Consolidate and report sustainability data to external and internal stakeholders.
• Support and lead environmental initiatives together with your colleagues within the Nordic region.
• Manage supplier contracts and audits to ensure alignment with our Code of Conduct.
• Assist in compliance with laws, Epiroc policies, and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).

The right person is proactive, organized, and enjoys collaboration and communication with people and teams on all levels. You care about people and the environment, and you want to learn and develop your skills in sustainability and sourcing. You are humble, social, and inspire others by your genuine interest and positive attitude.

Your background and skills could include:

• Experience in sustainability work in other companies, especially health and safety.
• Familiarity with contracts, audits, and management systems.
• Knowledge of systematic health and safety work.
• Academic education or equivalent experience.
• Social skills and good orderliness.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Fluent Finnish and good English.
• B driving license is required.

Location and other

This position is located in Vantaa.

Occasional travel is included in the role, mainly within Finland and Estonia.

Start date will be agreed separately.
