About the Role:
This pivotal role within Epiroc's Parts & Services Division offers a comprehensive opportunity to lead financial control and strategy execution that directly influence business outcomes. As a Business Controller, you will be at the heart of managing financial performance, ensuring robust internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making processes to reinforce the company’s financial integrity and sustainable growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee financial performance of the division, recommending and enforcing appropriate financial policies to align with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets while ensuring financial information adheres strictly to local financial accounting manuals and legal requirements.
  • Support and advise the General Manager and act as a trusted partner to business line managers, providing actionable insights to facilitate business development and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and provide comprehensive analytical tools such as scorecards and dashboards to support business management and decision making.
  • Practice proactive risk management by identifying early warning signs, raising flags, and implementing corrective action plans to mitigate financial risks.
  • Foster transparent and effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to support collaborative business planning and execution.
  • Recommend credit policies, customer terms, and interest rates aligned with the national monetary context, ensuring balanced financial exposure.
  • Communicate budgeting guidelines and ensure all financial planning adheres to the company’s strategic goals and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with current laws and regulations to protect shareholder interests and uphold corporate governance.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controllership or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial controllership, ideally within the mining industry or complex organizational environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams within the Brazilian market context and culture.
  • Expert knowledge of BPCS system and fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
