Controller

For our customer center Epiroc Norge AS, we are looking for a Local Controller to join our local management team in Vestby and act as a true business partner, driving financial performance and supporting strategic decisions.

Your mission

As a Local Controller, you will be the heart of our financial operations, steering the organization’s accounting functions and empowering strategic financial decisions through precise and timely reporting. You will challenge the business, identify risks and opportunities, and coordinate forecasting, budgeting, target setting, and KPI follow-up. Reporting to the Regional Business Controller, you will be contributing significantly to our overall success.

You will also ensure strong financial governance by maintaining an effective internal control environment, ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and group accounting requirements, and coordinating internal and external audits.

To support continuous improvement, you will drive the standardization and optimization of financial processes, monitor working capital performance, and leverage business intelligence and digital tools to enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and reliable financial processes.

Your profile

You are a reliable and self-driven professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels, and build trust through your professional and structured approach. You are resilient and able to handle occasional short deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on results and timely delivery.

You also bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, preferably within the industrial sector.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably SAP, along with experience using financial tools and platforms and strong digital competence.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Norwegian accounting principles and tax legislation.
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written.
