The Role

Join our dynamic team in Welshpool as a Cost Controller and play a key role in driving financial performance across our Perth-based Schramm business units. This is a hands-on finance role with a focus on cost control, production efficiency, and strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities:

·         Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, cost tracking, and profitability assessments

·         Support the process of preparation and final reporting for end of month, quarterly and year end closing.

·         Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.

·         Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP

·         Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

·         Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to manage production costs and inventory

·         Implement standard costing processes and conduct regular cost audits

·         Provide insights into manufacturing KPIs and support CapEx planning

About you

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA/CA preferred

·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

·         Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

·         Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work independently and in a team

·         Willingness to travel between factories as required
