We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team based in Welshpool. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product, process, and supplier quality by identifying risks early, supporting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

The Role

Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Identify, report, and manage non-conformances, including supplier-related issues
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone)
Monitor supplier quality performance and coordinate resolutions
Participate in product, process, and engineering change management
Track and report quality KPIs and maintain accurate documentation (QMS, SharePoint)
Perform Gemba walks and engage with production teams to identify risks and improvements
Ensure calibration and compliance of measuring equipment
Support commissioning activities and investigate customer warranty issues

About you

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a quality role within manufacturing or production
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools
Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
