The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team in Welshpool. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of the warehouse department, driving operational excellence, safety, and efficiency across all logistical processes. You will ensure our stock is managed effectively, our supply chain runs smoothly, and our team is engaged, aligned, and performing at its best.

You will play a key role in shaping the department’s future, creating a safe, productive, and high performing environment that delivers quality outcomes at the lowest possible cost

Key responsibilities:

  • Champion a strong safety culture by promoting proactive risk reporting, conducting safety inspections, and leading safety training initiatives (e.g., Safe Start, Stop Think Act).
  • Lead and motivate your team to maintain a positive and productive workplace, focusing on engagement, development, and wellbeing.
  • Ensure efficient and flexible supply chain operations that can adapt to market fluctuations while maintaining customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Oversee warehouse strategies within the ERP system to ensure healthy stock levels and accurate data management.
  • Manage annual stocktakes, inbound transport, and internal logistics flows.
  • Identify and monitor key supply chain KPIs and support budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Drive daily performance management, monitor deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a strong floor presence, coaching and supporting team members to follow standards and continuously improve.
  • Actively participate in improvement initiatives, cross-functional projects, and management meetings.
  • Lead by example, fostering teamwork, accountability, and alignment with Epiroc’s core values and Code of Conduct.

 

About you

You’ll bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for operational excellence.

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Qualification in Business Administration or Operations Management (desirable).
  • 5+ years’ experience in supply chain/logistics management and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in warehouse process development, lean manufacturing, and change management.
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • ERP system experience with warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
