Your mission as a Business Development Manager will be to accelerate profitable growth and cement our market dominance in Namibia—delivering 8% annual growth and 3% cost efficiency while expanding customer and market share. You will foster safety and sustainability, live the Epiroc values, and build a high-performance, positive workplace culture.

If you are energized by innovation, you will lead the integration of AARD and spearhead automation, digitalisation, electrification, and 100% equipment connectivity—driving operational excellence, stronger profitability, and disciplined execution in line with “The Epiroc Way.”

 

What you’ll do

  • Own and drive the Capital Equipment P&L and balance sheet performance, ensuring achievement of net invoice sales targets and profitable growth.
  • Execute the Capital Equipment division strategy in alignment with company objectives and divisional priorities.
  • Develop and grow market share by analysing territory potential, identifying opportunities, understanding competitor positioning, and ensuring effective market coverage.
  • Lead key account and territory management activities, setting SMART goals and maintaining strong relationships with strategic customer stakeholders.
  • Promote current and new capital equipment products, driving commercial opportunities including tenders and project-based sales.
  • Strengthen cross-divisional collaboration and business synergy to maximise overall value delivery.
  • Ensure financial discipline and customer excellence by monitoring receivables, supporting aftersales coordination, and contributing to initiatives that drive sustainable business growth.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Proven minimum experience of 5 years selling mining equipment & solid knowledge of the Mining & Rock Excavation capital equipment and their applications.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Bachelor's degree in Marketing and the relevant working experience.
  • A proven track record of increasing revenue and profitable market share & Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and general IT skills
