Your Mission:
- Lead and manage SHEQ and HR functions to support a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace.
- Ensure compliance with Epiroc Group standards, ISO requirements, and Namibian labour and SHEQ legislation.
- Drive SHEQ initiatives, incident reporting, risk management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
- Coordinate SHEQ training, statutory requirements, employee awareness, and continuous improvement programs.
- Monitor, report, and present SHEQ and HR performance metrics to management.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and employee wellness initiatives.
- Coordinate performance management, skills audits, training, and employee development programs.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, payroll, benefits, and employee queries.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, inclusion, and employee engagement.
- Support operational excellence through stakeholder collaboration and process improvement.
- Perform any other duties required to support business objectives and uphold The Epiroc Way.
Your Profile:
- Grade 12
- SHEQ Qualification, relevant HR qualification (added advantage)
- Minimum 2 years Industry experience in Industrial and or Mining environments
- Candidate should have exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Implementation and internal auditing
- MS Office Literacy would be required
- Computer literacy with thorough knowledge of Microsoft packages, SHEQ Tools in Operations and Root causation models used in Industry, including statistical capturing and Analysis would be an advantage
- HR experience/ knowledge advantageous
