Manufacturing Engineer

Main tasks and responsibilities 

•Process Documentation: Prepare assembly and machining process documents, work instructions, material and labor hour quotas, as well as PFMEA, CP, and other related documents.
•Process Flow Planning: Design optimal machining and assembly sequences, and plan workshop layouts.
•Fixture & Tooling Design: Design or improve production tooling, fixtures, gauges, etc., to drive continuous improvement.
•On-Site Technical Support: Work directly on the production floor to resolve process and technical issues, and ensure compliance with process discipline.
•Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction: Optimize processes, introduce new technologies, promote cost reduction and efficiency improvement; proficiently apply tools such as standardization, poka-yoke (error-proofing), and SMED (quick changeover) to implement and drive improvements.
•Quality Management Support: Analyze and resolve quality complaints, cooperate with internal and external audits; proficiently apply tools such as control charts, MSA, A3 reports, etc.
•Employee Training: Provide process training to operators and supervise proper execution of processes.
•Cross-Department Collaboration: Participate in new product reviews and coordinate with R&D, production, procurement, and other departments.
•BOM System: Build BOM data according to project requirements, and regularly evaluate and maintain the up-to-date status of BOMs.
•Process Change Management: Manage process changes arising from new products, quality improvements, process enhancements, lean initiatives, technical upgrades, etc., to ensure processes remain controlled.
•Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Competences, skills and experience

•Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or related fields.
•Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in mechanical manufacturing and assembly process engineering for hydraulic products. Experience in machining/assembly within the hydraulic pump industry, or experience in mining/construction equipment, is preferred.
•Professional Skills: Proficient in core processes such as machining, welding, and assembly; skilled in using CAD/SolidWorks or similar software; familiar with industry standards and quality tools.
•Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, cost and efficiency awareness, excellent communication and coordination skills, and a high sense of responsibility.
•Language Proficiency: Good command of English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing; able to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and process standards in English; capable of translating and organizing basic technical documentation in English.
