Plant Manager

Mission

We are searching for a Plant Manager of PSD Operation department of Epiroc (Zhangjiakou) Construction and Mining Equipment Ltd. Through lean operations, standardized management, and technological innovation, to efficiently organize overhaul workshop resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and safety-compliant overhaul services. You need to continuously enhance customer satisfaction while building a high-performing team committed to sustainable improvement.

Responsibilities:

Safety：

• Develop safety operation procedures, implement safety production requirements and standards, identify and control hazards and safety risks.
• Foster a culture of compliance with safety instructions to achieve zero accidents.
• Ensure Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) standards are strictly followed in overhaul work processes.

Sustainability:

• Successfully implement the Group's safety, health, and sustainability culture within the scope of responsibilities, achieving and maintaining safety, health, and sustainability goals to ensure continuous improvement and excellent performance records.

• Champion and drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring equal opportunities for employees.

Operation：

• Fully responsible for the planning and establishment of the overhaul workshop, as well as the organization and coordination of daily production operations， including efficiently allocating manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure on-time delivery of overhaul, maintenance and assembly repair tasks.
• Establish a standardized management system for the overhaul center, covering process workflows, operational procedures, quality inspection, and safety standards to ensure full process quantifiability.
• Implement lean management tools (e.g., 5S, VSM value stream analysis, TPM) to identify and eliminate waste in overhaul processes.
• Monitor overhaul process execution, optimizing workstation layouts for assemblies, staffing arrangements, and equipment utilization efficiency.
• Define processes and procedures to ensure production equipment, tooling systems, and infrastructure are developed and properly managed according to overhaul requirements.
• Parts Remanufacturing.
• Localization of After-Sales Spare Parts.

Cost：

• Conduct in-depth analysis of overhaul business cost structure, establish cost control objectives and measures, and optimize procurement processes and costs.
• Rationalize production resource allocation, improve equipment utilization rates, and reduce overhaul costs.

Quality：

• Establish overhaul production lines and implement end-to-end digital process management to ensure process consistency and overhaul quality.
• Develop a comprehensive quality management system for the overhaul workshop, formulate and refine quality standards, quality plans, and inspection protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Organize and execute quality inspection and control activities, strictly monitor key overhaul process points, promptly identify and resolve quality issues, and assume full responsibility for overhaul quality.

Customer Satisfaction：

• Maintain close communication with customers to deeply understand their needs and expectations, develop overhaul solutions and quotations that meet customer requirements, and deliver high-quality overhaul services.

Team management：

• Adhere to the company's HR and leadership processes in personnel management, including diversity and inclusion requirements.
• Provide guidance to team members as needed to ensure the development of required talents.

Education：

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

Experience：

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance management or production management experience in mining/construction machinery, or experience in after-sales operations management.

• Experience in overhaul planning and management management is preferred.
• Proficient in IE (Industrial Engineering), production management, cost control, quality management and related knowledge/experience.
• Fluent in English.

Working location: Xuanhua; Xingping; Xi’An; business travel required.
