Heat Treatment Operator

 Main tasks and responsibilities:

1.Operate heat treatment equipment to perform heating, quenching, tempering, and cooling processes on drill rods.
2.Monitor process parameters to ensure compliance with product standards, maintain production records, and ensure traceability.
3.Perform routine equipment maintenance and report equipment malfunctions.
4.Comply with safety and environmental regulations - properly handle hazardous materials (e.g., quenching oil, exhaust gases), and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
5.Collaborate with upstream and downstream processes to resolve heat treatment-related defects.
6.Support new product trials - assist engineers in developing heat treatment processes for new types of drill rods as production volume increases.

Competences, skills and experience:

1.Technical competence good understanding of heat treatment processes ;
2.Quality & process control - Skill in monitoring temperature, time, and cooling rates; experience using hardness testers and maintaining traceable production records.
3. Maintenance & safety - Hands-on experience with routine equipment upkeep, fault reporting 
4. Problem-solving & collaboration - ability to work with teams to resolve defects, and support engineers in new product trials as production scales up.
